Jewells of Thought

There have been several things that have happened the last few days. Still I can’t believe today is the 13th one week to my birthday. It just doesn’t take long and then it’s here a week away.

I found an email a couple of days ago that has really lifted my spirits if not for the time difference in finding it has allowed me to mildly gain an ego. Not really, but it does feel good to know my article floated well after all this time of not knowing.

Then I have a very thoughtful boyfriend and we have had some extremely sweet conversations lately. Not necessarily because of my birthday or being in the dog house. Some exchanges that reassert our attraction in our characters, but also showing him some playful time with Grandma’s hats.

Tonight I am besides typing right now enjoying cross-stitch and just got a text. It wasn’t very long ago I sent Bryan a photo of what the Cobra looked like now; he was impressed. In the entire time we have been a couple I wasn’t exactly doing this very much if at all due to a couple of back to back surgeries. He hasn’t seen me in my cross-stitch zone.

Today is also the birthday of three people in my family. A 1st cousin of my Dad’s, a distant cousin of my Grandpa Freddy’s but she is also a band mate of mine from school. Both of these ladies have personal connections to me & a church family one as well. January is full of birthdays for friends and family.

This will be a good week since we have a hair appointment this week!
