These cards are all special to me. How I received most of these cards now decades later… are lost to the space in my brain. This is why getting a chance to look through them again is nice as an adult.

My uncles gave this card to me and I don’t know what birthday it was some cards say and others don’t. Yet its the little details if you look at the last page of this card you will see a handmade heart. Uncle Tony is the artist. It’s also an emotional detail to see how Uncle Mike’s cursive writing curlicues came through.
These guys were my childcare most of my childhood pizza and movies were our favorite routines. A slice of pizza and whatever movie they were all over that week something with dinosaurs or possibly laugh out loud comedic. They made our house or the Alsman house a spectacular movie theater atmosphere. Then eventually, we did have our evenings at the theater when we were a bit older, if we were good.
As my cousin Justin has said they were the fun uncles. When Uncle Mike died Uncle Tony’s life forever changed. They were brothers and best friends they were each other’s encouragement. They would do just about anything for us, their nieces and nephews. We are blessed to have such uncles in our lives.
I have been truly blessed to have the people God has given me in my life.
