Eve

My new reading pleasure is immensely intriguing. Most of my Bible books come from Jill Eileen Smith not all of them, but a big percentage. My Angela Hunt collection is catching up though. I do enjoy several authors and their perspectives.

When it comes to Eve the first woman, this is the first book I have of her. Several years ago I remember Pastor Tyra reading an excerpt from a book written by Tosca Lee. The title was “Havah: The Story of Eve.” The brief sentences were mesmerizing.

It was eye-opening to think of the first woman in the world being created, but also to be in the garden of Eden. She was beyond blessed. It is amazing how some people can read the Bible and find the most minutiae detail and make some extraordinary piece of scripture to life.

Due to my lack of reading time lately I have only gotten through two chapters. Already it is amazing to visualize life as the first adams of the world. The male adam with his robust masculinity and the female adam with her natural femininity complemented each other perfectly. There were no doubts about where they fit into God’s creation and as His creation they worked together in the garden well.

Unfortunately the story doesn’t end a fatal decision is made and this all changes. The garden of Eden is hidden only in God’s realm of sight. Okay so I have only begun this book and I am looking forward to reading more.
