Dates To Remember…

Yesterday I received a mention in my notifications. My one year mark since I joined the Word Press Community. I was nervous and as worried as could be. Putting your words out into the internet into the unknown is scary. I didn’t know what would happen.

Today on January 10, 1776 I wonder if Thomas Paine was afraid to publish his 47 page pamphlet! Did he know it would be the firebrand spark the colonists needed or was he like me… unsure of what would come?

Wouldn’t it be nice to have some of our First Compatriots around right now.

Having their support and knowledge among the chaos of the lack of knowledge we have now would be reassuring. At a time when he was needed, Paine wrote with every fiber of his being, the most emotional, fiery sentiments that allowed for an understanding among the colonies and the colonists.
