Preparing My AH-1W Cobra

This is the standard cross-brace that I use for my pieces. There is an assortment and I do have several sizes I have accumulated over the years. My Aunt Mary actually has the stand that hangs out the brace for you to use but stands on the floor. I don’t really have a place to put one that size and I’m pretty comfortable with how these have worked for me.

Plus I like to have my special colors like the blended ones made up on a separate sheet where I can keep them protected. I punch out holes and make the specific insignia for each blend on the paper like this:

As you can tell… I like tending to the smallest detail that I need in order to make the best piece that I can. Also for convenience sake.

I really like to look at the back as I go. The back looks as intriguing as the front does and changes as the front side does with each stitch and back-stitch.

It already looks so much different now from this last photo down and I just started Saturday.

I have already doubled the stitches from this photo. I’ll check back in maybe next week on this project.
