Devotion Time Is Finished

Day 25 was Christmas Day. The Purpose of Christmas is so that We Could Have Courage. Through the years this has been a struggle for me. Growing up in Church and having a Music Ministry was nourishing for me; it never felt like work or a burden. It was my ministry and such a passion in my Church. Now I have two passions music and history for years I couldn’t figure out how to use both to complement the other until writing brought the two together.

There were times I heard a distant command. You need to share… but I didn’t know how to or where to start. Life isn’t easy so I knew this wouldn’t be an easy task, but after being afraid to share several different times. My first blog Sparrow Files was me finally succumbing to God’s will. Covid and wanting to make a change for an onsite job happened.

This year I have found courage once again and a man who also believes in what I am doing. This is critical for me having him and his support and encouragement. Reminding me of God’s wonderful timing even when I am uncertain at times.

If we don’t heed God’s callings who will?

Risks and courage are necessary to heed these callings. It wouldn’t take as much courage if we made a habit of doing so to begin with though, would it? God tells us He will be with us, but we need to believe him. It’s when we forget and doubt… yet we have to be reminded don’t we!

What is God putting on your heart to do? Prayer is our time to converse with our Father take advantage of it He will show you the way! It may be different than you imagine it to be, but God will make a way for you… so be courageous.
