The Boston Tea Party… Terrorism?

The Washington Post writers have a sick sense of humor. Talk about revisionist historians they would like to have you believe the Colonists were the bad guys in this scenario. I can assure you King George and the British were still the enemies.

Saturday was the 250th Anniversary of this Colonial protest against the King. My day was so busy I didn’t catch this headline at all until today and it was in a news clip instead.

One of the first things I thought about when Bryan and I first began to converse were all the events I could think of like this Boston Tea Party. I still have to pinch myself even knowing we have the George Rogers Clark Memorial not too far from here all the historical Revolutionary places he could see on a daily basis. Yes I am a bit jealous, but I love the idea of going back with him to visit where his family lived growing up.

I only drank water Saturday afternoon, but I did taste Mom’s unsweeten tea from Biaggi’s. It was flavored with raspberries I believe and it was good even Dad complemented the tea. He usually only likes sweet tea, but they don’t serve anything but the unsweet.

Obviously the writer of this piece was being sensational wild with this accusation of Samuel Adams and his Colonial brotherhood of Patriots. Why can’t this writer put their animosity towards the presidents of the Ivy Leagues that are plagiarizing and not leading or protecting their students from antisemitism?
