When it comes to cartoons there are only two answers for me. The Chipmunk Adventure the older movie and Peanuts. Otherwise I don’t really get into anything else. Veggie Tales wasn’t around during my youth so I didn’t really get into that either. Believe it or not the music hooked me line and sinker with the Chipmunks. Peanuts was a classic cartoon, the characters were vibrant with real reactions and spoke to a place of nostalgia. The music was also very distinct and the show generally brought comfort to me.
They both transport me to my youth instantly when I hear the music from either show. Ironically though I was either gifted or bought a cross-stitch of a Peanuts scene with a couple characters playing musical instruments Linus on the piano and Lucy maybe singing. It is a scene I have adored and gifted to others.
