There are so many topics this week that have been buzzing. My number 1 would be the outlandish remarks of hopefully ex-Presidents of some Ivy League Schools. The arrogance of all three women… absolutely vile themselves. Here we are in 2023 these Universities have women Presidents that in itself is a modern advancement and honor to be at the top of one’s career at America’s most prestigious schools. Yet these women smirked and acted self-righteous about the position they each held.
Watching American women demean themselves to Congress and to the very students they are supposed to be protecting was disgusting. Women are supposed to be nurturing and those women did not show an empathetic bone in their bodies. They are so much more intelligent than the rest of us and they wanted to stand behind the words free speech. They protect the instigators and the victims have to hide in any place they can find except the President’s office. What’s the old saying “the buck stops here” that’s all these Presidents have to say oh and actually practice the free speech and equal protection rights for all students.
As a woman looking at those women I am grateful I never wanted to go to the Ivy League. My Presidents were Christian men I could easily talk to. I even celebrated a birthday with Dr. Ray. I had a hard time calling him President Barber, mostly because he was one of my professors firstly. He was always Dr. Barber and we have the same birthday. He has since retired but he was one of my favorite professors and Presidents. I also had a chance to be one of his secretaries work-study girls at times. My junior and senior year I worked in the Compliance Office and was literally in the President’s Office Suite.
That was a pretty awesome job to have I thoroughly enjoyed my time getting to know those amazing people.

The second topic was Taylor Swift, being named ‘Person of the Year.’ I admit I liked her earlier Country persona more than what she has transformed into. Just based on her relationship count over the years kind of showed some of her true feelings on men and life as a young lady.
She wasn’t just thrust into the limelight. She brought it onto herself writing the song about the successful, gorgeous, married country music icon; Tim McGraw. She wanted this to happen and she was able to make it happen by being as sugary, country and cutsy as need be.
Stardom comes with a steep price. She may be on top, but her sound has been lost on me for years as I said. She doesn’t have the same spark as she first did as a country artist. She thought she had to go to the next level and move from genre to genre for what reason only she knows? Her music seems darker to me and just not the kind I care to listen to personally.
I love music too. Sometimes when the lyrics don’t sit well with me and my conscience I have to listen. One of the headlines this week hit on the fact that she wrote a song and made the music video with so-called hillbillies watching two men kiss. A group of people she decided to distort in the video were American Christians who love God their country and morals. Again, I don’t listen to her music so I hadn’t seen that or heard the song, but it’s on point sadly.
As of this evening I just found this story, it has recently gone viral. The headline from the Gateway Pundit is, “Beautiful! Watch Christian School Kids Lift Car to Rescue Trapped Mom and Baby.” The article was posted by a guest contributor Bob Unruh. In the parking lot of a Christian School a mother and her two children were hit. Chris Crowder the associate pastor and the CEO noticed something outside in the area.
So Crowder went outside to see what was going on. He could see the mom and her child a year old trapped under the car and they were screaming. One of the kids was able to wiggle out from the car. It took him mere seconds to run back into the school and yell. Crowder said the school has 220 domestic children and over 300 international children within this school. All of a sudden all of these various children from all nationalities came running out and helped to lift the car up.
Apparently the mother and child were brought to safety by an actual personnel of the Hill Air Force Base, an airman. Talk about heroes the 20-30 kids were how the airman was able to pull the mom and 2 year old out from the car. The baby, the 2 year old was flown by air ambulance and the mom and little girl by vehicle. The mom will have to have several surgeries. Her boy, the 2 year old was protected by being in her arms.
Pastor Crowder said, “It’s a miracle. We have just seen God do so many things here and this is one of them. The car went over all three (of them).”
This is the buzz I would rather be talking about than the other two stories. These are more rare but they still happen God is still working in this country using hero kids and an airman to save a mother and her two kids.
Thank goodness for this pastor and his Christian School these kids and that Airman have more common sense and empathy for their community than a fading star or liberal presidents do for their own students.
