Devotion Time

Over the years I have learned some very compelling facts of the Christmas Nativity. There are different authors I have read and various Preachers who have had highlighted aspects not usually in the telling of the story.

The past 3 days have already been so enlightening. Ms. Hunt has so much knowledge and is sharing it in this recently published devotion book. Yesterday was about the Garden of Eden and the fall of Adam and Eve. The beginning of sin and the need for Christ’s manifestation as a man.

Today’s topic was about Lambs. The idea behind this one is that we can’t allow ourselves to be so clean and secluded from the world that we lack to be salt for the world. I love the way she brought this out in the “A Moment for Wonder” section. It’s the exact reason why I write this blog. We don’t reach people just in the confines of the Church. We need to be alongside the people who need to see God’s light in us. They can’t see the difference otherwise.

I love being a part of this discussion and seeing the comments from 150 plus people and the author behind the devotional. I am in awe of what has been shared in the book and by Ms. Hunt on our group page. I am very blessed to have been invited on this journey.
