Tonight is the debut of “The Biltmore Christmas.” For weeks this show has been on commercials for the Christmas Hallmark season. As much as I have a love and hate relationship with Hallmark I love this show already.
About two months ago I was invited after church to a friends house with other church friends; really they are all like family. They were all discussing the Biltmore Mansion not long before we disbanded that evening. It was a neat discussion to observe. Especially recalling it now while watching the movie.
I also loved watching TCM with Grandma Rosie we enjoyed many movies over the years. I wonder if she would have liked this one. I can remember this lady, Bethany Joy Lenz on a soap opera. Also Grandma and Mom’s favorite show. This probably shows my age, but she never did sing on that show. On this show she does.
I love anytime I can bring this photo out and remember my hair being long, but also in that hairstyle. I love that beautiful style from the 40s. The story about the Biltmore is quite intriguing after all too.
