Yesterday started out with a very long train stopping us on our way to pick up my niece. We ate at her favorite pizza place where a lot of the youth from my parents Church work for some little duration in their lives. Plus we also met a classmate of mine and her family. Afterwards Selena had some fun.

This same little stinker who originally said she didn’t want eggs or breakfast at all actually had to walk by my skillet. Once she did she changed her mind. Turns out Aunts do know what is good and scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes and ham is good. She even wanted seconds.
My niece has an affection for chocolate ice cream. We also have some brownies in the freezer. So I mentioned bringing up some brownies and warming them up to have with ice cream. Oh she loved that idea. It was really delicious.
The last 30 hours have been some good make-up time with our girl. The Lord has given us a blessing we needed as much as I believe she needed. Time is precious and it seems we have lost some of that time recently. Food and family time; making memories!
