Well, I have had more experience with mountains. Honestly, with beaches the idea of becoming sunburned is in the back of my mind. I have fair skin like my Grandma Rosie’s and she got a lot of skin cancers from being out in the direct sun throughout her life. I have had blisters just from going to Holiday World so it’s somewhat of a fear of mine.
Even in the direct sunlight the trees can provide cover. When we visited Anakeesta my last visit to Gatlinburg was an awesome experience. I am a country girl so it makes sense to prefer mountains to beaches, right. Plus I just have amazing memories around destinations with mountains.
