Yesterday was difficult for me. We left home leaving Kodie by herself in the house to go eat. Thinking we would eat and bring her back some leftovers. During our dinner my eyes did that weird thing again. I got bleary-eyed, but had absolutely no other symptoms. It came on rather slowly and got through most of my dinner, but just felt like I couldn’t see. This used to be more normal due to migraines.
Fortunately because of my neurologist I haven’t had this problem for a long, long time. By the time we made it home I had a full-fledged migraine hitting me and an irate dog saying why did you leave me alone for so long. She really let me, us have it for being gone way too long. Then we got word from Selena that she wanted to help her eat and due to treatments. We had to wait even longer to give her her food until Selena finally arrived.
Having her there and seeing how Kodie didn’t get as clammed up as she can get with the treatment made it a neat experience to watch. Even with my forehead I got to witness my niece, the future Veterinarian or Miss Ellie Clampett, whichever fits.
With a less than stellar night I woke up to still feeling yucky. So Selena came back over and she and Grandpa actually did Kodie’s treatment this morning. It’s such a neat thing to watch her grow up and help take care of this delicate treatment. I am a very proud aunt when I see how mature she is coming to be in these past 11 years.
My migraine has been waning, but I have felt sluggish. God-willing I will feel better in the morning.
