Ms. Kodie is doing well. Although we have had some intriguing moments over the past few days. Like last night I was finishing my last article when she was howling at us. We knew it was a bathroom break, but my brother wouldn’t just take her outside. So lately she has done well about coming back in a timely manner. She decided to take the long way back home when all she had to do was walk back across from the house. The whole experience was way longer than it should have been, although finally after what seemed an eternity she hit the front door alerting us she was back.
She has also gotten extremely tired of being in the house with us and having good food and going outside pretty much whenever she needs to. She has it really bad around here! Plus a clean blanket almost daily and a clean area to sleep in cause we sweep a lot lately.
I have to admit I may have desensitized myself to this allergen over the past week. No headaches or feeling of my skin crawling all over. If this is true it would be a good thing.
What will I do it’s been a really good excuse for me over the years to stay away from dogs being inside!
She’s doing much better when it comes to the treatments. We don’t use the muzzle and only two people are needed. One of the things we noticed when Dad helped us was that he had such a way with her; she calmed in a way we couldn’t seem to do between me, Mom and my brother. Even Uncle Tony has gotten to take her on walks for us when necessary. It has been quite a family endeavor to take care of her and each of us sharing the duties.
Still my niece won’t believe the past week happened. I have photos to show her we get her this weekend so she may very well have a duty once she gets here. She would be absolutely loving this idea of taking care of Kodie!
