Gems To Think About

We are halfway through the month of November and here in Indiana it’s been nice weather for this time of year. The year 2023 is about to come to an end and that doesn’t feel possible, does it?

Life has been quite intriguing. So many things have happened this year and are still in the process for the next month and a half. We are officially back to darker nights and less sunlight through the winter. Decisions have been made and snapshots of moments in time.

Do 5 specific moments this year stick out to you before we come into the Thanksgiving Season?

Several times have come to my mind already. Whether it’s the most memorable, sweetest, or scariest moments a number of ideas have come to the forefront. Considering all that has happened in the past month and a half; I think someone said it’s been 40 days since October 7th. We need to take stock of what we have to be grateful for this year.

  1. My writing started with a literal bang back on March 21st. All because of a bag of my Bishop Grandparents things.
  2. The accident on August 2nd.
  3. The day I walked back into Fellowship Baptist Church.
  4. Brother Dean’s Birthday Bash on October 15th. Also the day my family headed down to Madison for a nice little trip.
  5. Watching the effects of the advertising on the Jewell’s of Thought Facebook page. It was very surreal.

These are special memories with one really scary moment in between. There are other good memories that could be listed. What about you! What moments do you want to remember about this year…
