It’s a bit disheartening and yet it was bound to happen. Senator Tim Scott has now stepped down from running for President. There is no better message to freak out the Progressive Left than for this man to have been in the running for the Oval Office.
The story this Senator has is amazing and heart-wrenching; an American Dream turned to reality. His life is the embodiment of picking yourself up by the bootstraps and winning an election to the United States Senate. I have heard Tammy Bruce say, he was one of the few not in the race for pure vanity. He was much higher on my list than the vain Chris Christie.
My first choice is still Donald Trump not one of the Republican candidates put as much of the fear of God into the Left and the Democrats as him. Getting anything done like it was under his watch once he won in 2016 the U.S. hasn’t flourished as well. People want that time back and it won’t happen without this man’s stamina and brashness.
I remember listening to Senator Scott’s response to the State of the Union, I believe it was a few years ago. Learning his story and hearing him speak as articulately as he did became a leading Republican figure. He’s in politics for the right reasons we need his leadership in South Carolina and in the Senate. We need him to fight for the American Dream for others in this country.
