Yes well last night she did it. She had been eyeing all our chairs the last couple of days. No one was in this seat, of course the man who usually sits in it was at work for the night shift.
Even with her sore leg she got herself into Dad’s recliner. Yeah of all the seats, of course Mom and I were sitting in the others she decided to sit in Dad’s. Mom and I sat in stunned disbelief. She didn’t just do that right!
Oh she absolutely did. She has two specific chairs outside that are completely hers plus she loves to sunbathe on the seat out our front door. It didn’t take much to get into the seat, but trying to get her out was much harder. After several minutes we got her attention to get out. That process was a bit harder for her. But oh my goodness Dad would have killed us to see that sight.
All the hair she left in his seat. I had to sweep and lysol spray the chair. She misses her outside chairs and she loves them. I am just glad Dad didn’t see anything that could have alerted him to a dog having been in his seat.
This poor girl has been cooped up so much she’s getting tired of us and the house. We don’t want to increase the risk for infection so we are trying to be creative. She takes walks outside with us daily, but this late afternoon she got a car ride. Mom and James took her while Uncle Tony and I got some food for us. She enjoyed her ride immensely. She was still in a good mood when we got home with the food.
We are having some troubles with her pills again though. This morning I did good, but this evening I still can’t get her to take them.
