Ms. Kodie is enjoying being spoiled. She even likes watching Christmas movies.

Last night I slept well in my bed away from her. It helped with my allergy to have some space away through the night. However, Mom didn’t sleep as well. James ended up spending most of today with her though.

Trying to do the medication process wasn’t as easy or fun to have to go through. She let out a horrific yelp when the peroxide was put on the wound given to us by the Vet. We weren’t sure it got on the wound completely. Fortunately for the 2nd round we had Dad’s help and it went much better. She didn’t yelp, but she still didn’t like it very well.

I wouldn’t either!

She is walking better; without as much of a limp as she had Sunday. She is doing a lot better than she was for certain, but the wound is still far from completely healed.

We also due to my allergy have been trying to keep up with washing blankets for her to lay on and sleeping the floors and the specific rugs she is laying on. It has been a trial and error process. Especially with trying to get her to eat her pills. Apparently pizza rolls are a new food staple to have around for such a time. Hot dogs don’t work anymore!
