How do you manage your screen time?-Writing Prompt

The short answer is not very well. The only reason I was not on my laptop as much this morning was because of timing and doing things in a certain amount of ime.

Mom and I got our 40 minute walk today on this beautiful morning. That was exactly the start we needed even if it was a bit later than we would have liked. Then we had a few errands to do at Grandma’s house to possibly make another sale. A doctor’s appointment at 1 pm made it necessary to run on schedule though.

Being at her house without the internet I was unable to fully send out some photos so had to wait until lunchtime. So like I said I had better screen management this morning than usual. When we ate at Arby’s I was able to change that a little bit, however, Mom and I got caught. Dad and his sisters had a meeting and we were literally caught red-handed eating.

As I looked up from sending the photos to my cousin who needed to see them. I found my Dad just out of the meeting about to order something of his own. It was kind of funny, you would think we had orchestrated this meet up.

While at Grandma’s something uniquely personal to me and my brothers for a grandparents project at school was found. I am so grateful we didn’t sell this during either weekend sales events. Not only was Grandma Bishop’s recipes in there so was Grandma Alsmans recipes. Making cakes and muffins from scratch. Something else not needing a screen to make.

Sometimes my screen time isn’t up to me like today. What I need to do and reality are two different things. I try to do my best in what I am able to do. Sometimes God has other ideas for my day and sometimes those make for some articles that are the most meaningful.
