A Feisty Woman & Iran

This woman came into my peripheral vision during the Covid lockdown in 2020. I saw some of her posts and videos on Gab which I was only on for a short time and then on Telegram. She is a German woman with her own thoughts and she won’t be silenced.

A recent article from the Gateway Pundit featured this feisty, determined German member of the European Parliament; Christine Anderson. It was a guest post by the Vigilant Fox. She also had a few choice words about our popular President, Mr. Trump. The fact that he is candid and genuine makes him a hoot in her book. She actually used the word love when talking about him and said it was because he was unique in the political world.

Reading this article just made me like her even more. Her common sense thinking and making these thoughts heard by her fellow members of Parliament have been amazing to observe over the last few years.

As I was wondering how to fill this in a bit more; an unexpected and sad thought brought a twist to this story idea. This vibrant and strong woman being in this European body shows such a deep and contrast that is disgusting to the recent news that came out of the United Nations.

Out of the worst groups of countries that could have been chosen this one in particular is a slap in the face to our country and to all women of the world. The word insult was used in reference to this decision being made on American soil. How on God’s green earth could they pick Iran of all countries to be the Chair of Human Rights. Especially considering two major deaths of women due to charges most women would find incredulous.

So again, like God nudges me these two stories collided for me.

The dichotomy of the world. A German western woman versus Middle Eastern men. A powerful and confident woman in parliament and a country that has repeatedly struck down rights for their own citizens; primarily their own women.

Would this have been possible had another man been in the Oval Office? Topsy turvy seems like an understatement for the world since the major change in the Oval office. Again I wonder, what is the usefulness of the UN?
