The year I was born two things happened I know this only because I researched my birth-year not too long ago. The Titanic was found this year and the remains of Dr. Joseph Mengele were found in Brazil. Perhaps there was something in the air that year. I was born into a musical family… yet I was born with historical tones happening all around the world that year. My awareness of historical events didn’t set over me until I became a teenager.
Another interesting fact though one of the Jewish leaders in my state of Indiana was Eva Kor. I was blessed to have the opportunity twice to listen to her and I will never forget that voice of hers. A voice of having been through some tremendous horrors and lived through them by the grace of God. One of the men who tortured her and her twin sister was Mengele himself.
Personal memories would maybe be things like the Oklahoma City Bombing, little Jessica falling into a hole sometime back in the 90s. I am not sure what state that happened in. I love this question I would just really need more time to remember everything that has happened when I was younger it seems like forever ago…
