Lazy days usually mean things didn’t happen in a certain routine of sorts. So it turns my day upside down when it comes to writing in a certain timetable. I am not sure I could say I would feel rested and yet sometimes a bit of a change is exactly what I need.
Perhaps it depends on how much of an upheaval it is to begin with. Routines are made for changing yet sometimes it takes a while to write and others are done in literal minutes. This week my routine has been changed due to being on a trip but also because the cold mornings are catching up with us. So I am needing to alter my early morning routine with breakfast and my first post of the day. Possibly posting the writing prompt before we walk later on in the mid-morning.
Sometimes the days events really factor in to the topics of the articles. Timing can be critical or essential to the timing during the week as well. Writing is a unique experience that takes creative avenues to make words connect with readers as well in our own minds piecing them together the right way. This week has shown me every day how incredible my surroundings can be to adding to a specific idea already in my head.
So I guess lazy days can be both whether I feel rested or not they can be productive.
