Today would have been my Grandpa Leo’s and Grandma Betty’s 77th Wedding Anniversary. This year makes nearly 24 years since she has celebrated the day alone without her other half. I can only understand this to a certain point personally not having the relationship they had.
If the number of people at my Grandpa’s funeral wasn’t enough or my cousin Neil’s or Aunt Carols visitors our Estate Sale has reminded us how beloved our Grandparents are and have been to this community. It shows how their children and grandchildren were raised. Goodness… the love in this family has spilt over many times because of this amazing couple.
Emotions have been high through the sale, but actually looking at the numbers amazed me this morning. Which also means they had just less than 55 years together before Grandpa died still a good 54 years of Wedded Bliss.
These last two photos of my Grandparents are the ones I haven’t seen until this year. I love having such amazing photos of them to look back on. They made such a cute couple throughout the years.
