Jewells of Thought

Ever since October 6th and 7th happened so many inconsistencies have been thrown into the media to spew around. There are so many words used to justify and show bias against our long-standing ally Israel. Words like apartheid, proportionality, cease-fire, misinformation; the victims have been accused of being the transgressors without facts on their side.

“The rot of Journalism” and “Journalism is dead” are comments I have been hearing recently.

This is just sad of American Journalism and of the World Media Outlets.

So can anything really counter this means of no evidence trafficking of the very opposite of what happened journalism?

This is where I have to smile at long ago memories of myself as a teenager. My life was Church, school and reading. I read mostly biographies of JFK, Roosevelt and Churchill and anything dealing with the American Revolution and World War II. I am grateful for the eye-opening experience of Grandpa Leo’s viewing it gave me this amazing need to read and research Bible figures.

One only needs to read the Bible back in Genesis to see why Israel is important to our country, but also the Covenants God made with this young nation that are still in effect 2000 plus years later. In this day and age however owns the media company can assuage what information comes from that specific media. Misinformation is merely a subjective idea now based on that one piece of information.

When a company has no moral guidance misinformation is literally in the eye of the beholder as we have all seen with Covid and all of that information that was blasted from the airwaves and the other that was wiped off as needing to be fact-checked. That was our government interfering with social media and our personal lives. Now we are allowing an actual terrorist group to hand out facts to our liberal media as the truth.

This should be absolutely incredible and taken for what it is propaganda. Yet American students are eating it up. When did Hamas become our go to for checking on facts?

Another obvious question is who taught our students to take Hamas for being truth tellers?

When I was in High School I remember Iran spewing another lie. Having met Eva Kor in High School and later on hearing another survivor speak at my University disturbed me. I couldn’t fathom how someone could say the Holocaust didn’t happen when the Germans even kept detailed information, records about nearly every horrid part of their process to destroy a whole race of people. I am briefly reminded of our conversations on this topic in Mr. Benson’s history classes. This was 20 plus years ago and even then Iran was saying it didn’t happen.

Isn’t it funny when history repeats itself! Has Iran ever been on the winning side of history itself!

News being slanted, biased and downright lies are not new. A paraphrasing from Ecclesiastes 1:9, “there is nothing new under the sun.” These journalistic tactics were being used in World War II, before the world knew the avengers of the atrocities were hiding their secrets. Now there are no secrets being hidden like before, however the avengers are intricately finding ways to blame the victims of what they themselves did and are somewhat successfully winning the heartless souls of Americans.

The stink of Universities are to blame for the rot of hearts in part, but don’t forget it’s up to the parents to raise their children to think. Misinformation has so many layers of rot no one is blameless. The question is how do we as a country move forward? How do we ‘deprogram’ as Hilary Clinton likes to say about us MAGA deplorables! How does one reprogram truth into their children’s hearts!

One First has to know the truth. The Bible is an excellent place to start and prayer is absolutely essential.
