Well it’s called the Bible. God gave us the 10 Commandments in the Pentateuch and in the New Testament Christ spoke before he ascended to heaven on the Beatitudes. Also back in the old Testament King Solomon wrote a whole book on Proverbs showing the dichotomy of good decisions with bad decisions.
These are the statutes God has given us to go by at different times in history. They are still good guidelines to use and to heed in our relationships. God gave Solomon the talent of wisdom the Proverbs come from experience. Solomon’s knowledge was almost more of a curse than a blessing. He took hundreds of wives and allowed them to desecrate his religion by bringing their multiple religions to Israel which was the downfall of the nation and why God couldn’t live among them as he had.
This is where free will comes into play, God can’t force us to do His will or be in His will. We have to make the decision and be willing to do His will for ourselves. I am willing, because I have had ample examples of this in my multi-generational family. I know the worth of following the Biblical principles.
