Monday morning was interesting. When I mean interesting I mean it was sad. On two different screens MSNBC on one and ABC on the other. All of the 5 to 6 other people eating breakfast had their eyes pretty much glued to one of these screens.
Once Dad and I got our food most of the others had subsequently left. A Celebration of life was then the subject of the one closest to us for Suzanne Somers. It didn’t take me long to realize FOX wasn’t a favorite for some reason either the customers staying here or possibly the staff only listen to liberal outlets.
Anyway I wasn’t too thrilled with the crumbs of distaste content on the screens to watch while eating my breakfast. Usually I am watching you-tube videos on my laptop from Fox and looking at the headlines on my phone.
The bright side of breakfast was that it was just me and Dad. Mom and James had already eaten without us super early when we both just wanted some more rest. This trip is a short couple of days away from Sullivan and Greene County, but still in the Hoosier State. Even in just under 48 hours we have all gotten to do something we each wanted to do and that for me has been true in different ways.
Until tonight I stayed away from the bulk of the news. I am a news junkie so if I don’t eventually get my fix I have to get back on Telegram or on you-tube to find something out.
