Jewells of Thought

Again as I drove up from the Pleasantville Road to Grandma’s house we were actually a little bit late today. We got there at 8 am, but on the last leg towards the house the Sunrise was absolutely stunning. From earth the peach color nuanced to pink and harshly turned to a purple. If I wasn’t driving I would have attempted to take a photo.

Today was different from yesterday, but still hopping in ways. After listening to those guys playing our piano I decided to bring my own music. It was nice getting some practice today playing in front of strangers. Yes I do need the music in front of me most of the time. I can’t do what those guys did yesterday.

It started a little bit slow, but we still had quite a few people coming through to look around. Oh my this morning playing around on the piano was fun, but there were times I would be in the middle of a song and finish a piece to find a friend that has come around the wall to surprise me. I was humbled by the lovely comments on my playing today it meant a lot as I was practicing several songs.

Even lunchtime was awesome. Last night I made a decision to make a Mexican bake or casserole to put into the oven for today. I didn’t mention it to my Aunts this morning Aunt Rhonda had an avocado dip and tortilla chips as if we had ESP and communicated. We didn’t that’s why it’s awesome it worked out so well. I also made sweet tea and unsweet tea which is why we were 5 minutes later this morning.

Looking through our tables a little closer right before closing up an interesting find was made. Weeks of going through these tables all of a sudden this one item was found today. It has the name of my Dad’s Grandpa’s Mom. Estella Lester was her name and the imprint of Leuchtenburg, Germany. This is an old family heirloom and there’s only one when it seems there should be a set.

So far both days have been amazingly tiresome and yet awesome to see the friends and family coming to visit and peruse the sale. Working as a family has been quite rewarding as well.
