My family will be very busy this week going into the weekend. Our Estate Sale will be going on and I will be helping as I do have customer service and cashier experience. Not to mention I know the items and have explored them and researched them and they are pieces of our family story.
The historian in me hates to part with anything historical and yet there’s only so much space I can rightfully place in the house now. Earthly possessions won’t matter in time, but knowing these items belonged to my grandparents and even greats is comforting and an awesome thought for me to digest. However, there are some things that others could enjoy better and this is a time of finding those new owners for these priceless and once family heirlooms.
I will still be writing, but they may be published later than normal. Our hours for the sale are early. Ideas will be in my mind floating around each day and I may have to marinate on some thoughts. Then on Sunday my parents and I possibly one brother will be taking a short trip down south.
This is a trip I have been waiting for since August when I first saw the photos in one of Grandma’s albums.
