The electricity was on and everything was fun otherwise, so I couldn’t understand why I had no internet last night. It worked fine until nearly 4 pm. Then when I returned from Mom’s flower shopping spree and eating it was as if the Wi-Fi was unplugged.
How ironic to use that word, since it was as if life was unplugged 11 years ago yesterday. Even with a beautiful 3 month old niece mourning draped over us hard. That tiny little baby was always asleep by the time we got to see her. For some reason that seemed due to some unknown reason.
Uncle Mike was just always smiling and energetic. He came by it naturally I think but also from Grandpa and Grandma, that charismatic charisma. He even lit up the Dialysis Center when he was there. We heard about it all the time when we came to pick him up.

Goodness there are some people that light up your world. He knew how to laugh and have fun. One of my cousins, Justin admitted that he was one of the fun uncles who liked movies. The six months afterwards were some of the hardest months to get through. I submersed myself in reading books even if they were cookie cutter romantic story-lines. Anything that had bad endings I couldn’t handle during that time.
Do you have a Special Uncle in your life? Don’t forget him try to keep his memory alive. It’s good to remember those we love that we lose too quickly.
