Well my Mother and I were just talking about how much we have saved by making our own pickles this year. She threw out the idea well we need an Olive tree then too. Growing olives could be beneficial not just for the olives for our salads. I use a lot of olive oil in my cooking. So really if we did have an Olive tree that could help us out in a couple of ways.
We would have to learn about them as we have with our garden vegetables, but it could be done. We love our relish trays on both sides of our family. Green olives are our favorite, but black olives and Kalimata olives are wonderful. This probably won’t happen anytime soon, but it is an awesome idea.
