Watching Streams

Today has been an interesting morning. I was observing the reactions from last night until I realized the Impeachment Inquiry was today and found the many live-streams for this.

Pretty much at 10 am I was able to see Rep. James Comer starts off the proceedings and the introduction to the Inquiry. Then the wonderful Ranking Member as Rep. Tlaib called Jamie Raskin; talk about hot air on the left side of the room looking at the room as I was. This went on until 12:45 this morning when I left with mom for an appointment. I thought for sure they would be done I was naive to think so. Right now they are still asking questions and it has now been 5 hours worth so far.

Ironically, I turned my laptop off and went with mom to then watch something else in the car while I waited on her. So the inquiry has been more sporty with partisan lines being enforced. Then while looking through my phone on my Telegram account I found something that caught my attention. Last night a third presentation was being debuted, besides the Presidential Debate and Trumps Speech.

Tucker Carlson on X interviewed Bill O’Reilly and the duration was 47 minutes. I tell you I could not take my eyes and ears off of this interview. I learned quite a bit about this respected media icon. He was actually a History Teacher; I have an affinity for History Teachers. I love how he talks about teaching and making the stories relatable for his students. Even how he talks about witches and how the treatment against witches and 20 innocent lives were taken and how Salem is still making money off of that to this day.

Thankfully due to a young Benjamin Franklin that specific treatment was noticed and was remembered. Mr. Franklin as an adult was able to work this into religious freedom that is beautifully threaded into our Constitution and our documents.

I still can’t get over I watched a 47 minute video in between and am now back to the Inquiry. Surely it will be over soon. A lot of the 5 minutes from the Democrats is a lot of deflections and Trump-talk ridiculous statements from people who impeached a President without having evidence and didn’t get the guilty verdict they wanted not once but twice.

In High School I found an interest in government and yet there were times through the years I wanted to stay out of it. Now I am all in finding intriguing information about Congress and knowing the names of our Congressmen and woman and their views especially now with such partisan issues happening all over the country.

I know I am in a minority for listening to this stuff, but I like hearing from their mouths. Different outlets like to use a tiny bit and run with it, O’Reilly mentioned this in the interview. He was shown as a racist for something that he didn’t say at all.

The hearings and interviews are quite interesting and I have learned so much today. Although the Democrats and their hot air has definitely fried my brain a bit at least getting to hear the Republicans talk about the various suspicious activities to which the inquiry is specifically for has been refreshing to hear these reports. The hearing is now over and they are now subpoenaing bank records for the Bidens.

This is American Democracy at hand.
