When I took these photos I missed one of the cards that was still in the envelope Grandma wrote on. This is the invite to the ‘Wedding Shower’ at Grandma’s Church.

There’s a lot of gifts on that table.

My parents both have better cursive writing than I do.

Looking through these pieces of history literally before my time is precious. I was only a year away from being a reality. This is what I love about keeping some of the little things when it is something that can be done easily. My parents have been married for decades and it’s wonderful to see how long it has been.

This has been a nice reminder of my parents story before us kids came along and what decisions they made in cards and the photos that I wouldn’t be able to see if someone hadn’t kept these. Life is amazing and we have to take some time to remember how we got here.
