Family Life Is Not Perfect

Families are not perfect. People are not perfect. The Bible highlights many different couples and dysfunctional families that He used to show us lessons.

Look at Jacob with two wives Leah and Rebecca one had children and the other was barren for a time. Moses being raised by an Egyptian Princess, Samson and Delilah had an unusual relationship for a Judge of Israel, Hannah, Elkanah and Penniah again a barren wife and the man was talked into taking another wife who was naturally fertile. Joseph adopted Jesus as his son essentially. There are so many unique couples and families in the Bible and so we are still… in the 21st Century.

Recently an article came out from ‘The Federalist’ that was written and shared by Lydia Burns. This article is proof that prayer works that Crises Pregnancy Centers are essential and babies are blessings no matter the ways of their conception.

“I was pregnant by a man other than the guy I was living with and had three other kids. This couldn’t work out.” It took me awhile to read this 4 minute article on my phone initially until I printed it out. That man she was living with was okay with 3 kids but not a fourth child. Something wasn’t right in that relationship. This woman deserved much better.

“I was about three months pregnant and sitting in an abortion clinic receiving “counseling,” which meant I was reading over the forms they gave me and signing my consent. I was having second thoughts. I had had a previous abortion that still left me with nightmares, but I was desperate.”

God is in the details and when this woman was told another abortionist might have to take over; she took it as a sign. God gave her the sign she was hoping for subconsciously when she looked at her phone.

“I saw a post from a friend from church who had had five abortions. She said she was praying for those considering abortion at that moment. If my phone was eavesdropping or God was intervening, I got the message.”

This had to be a goosebump moment for her at this time.

The man she lived with forced her and her kids out; not such a great partner after all. They all deserved a better man and father figure in their lives. Her friend who had the five abortions was willing and able to get her into a Ministries called LoveLine. Ms. Burns writes that, people are there to help in every way, and there’s true empowerment.

This mother was given the treatment that she obviously did not receive before by the abortion clinic or the staff. The dichotomy was astounding to this woman. This is the message the Republicans and the Conservatives need to be using to shut down the Democrats and the Liberals on this issue. The humanity is shown, seen and felt in every little detail the Crisis Pregnancy Centers can afford to have in their clinics. Unlike the Planned Parenthood Centers these centers are funded by Churches and local businesses and people who believe in the mission of saving babies and the parents, the whole family.

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime” but the wisdom is real. It’s okay to accept help, but it’s even better to learn how to manage your money, search for jobs, and understand how to navigate Medicaid.

When she left that abortion clinic she was about to abort a baby girl. Her three kids were all boys. She had dreamed about having a little girl. God protected that special baby girl that day.

The name of this article is: ‘Right After I walked Out Of The Abortion Clinic, I Learned It Was A Girl.’ Reading this story worked on my heart and I couldn’t get it out of my head. This is exactly the message Christians need to be talking up.

Our message is about love, hope and a future.
