Oh goodness there are a few ideas. I want to practice and do more musical specials once again. Different factors have made this harder and I am hoping to change this soon. There is always more room for me to be in scripture more, especially with some of these family heirlooms surrounding me. Having these books from both sides of my family tree has been amazing to marvel at the hands that have touched these pieces of history.
Over the last 2-3 months my hands have done a lot of chopping and preparing vegetables for canning. Not long ago I used to do cross-stitch pieces and gave them away as presents. I miss doing those things for fun. Aunt Carol a few years ago gave me her cross-stitch and embroidery stuff and I have used some of it, but with some of my recent surgeries haven’t gotten back to doing as much as I once did. It gave me pause thinking about the bags of her embroidery and thread yesterday.
Time with those you love still trumps the other ideas in my mind. On both sides we had family events all the time and someone took photos which is why we have the amazing pictures we have now to look back on and treasure those times. If you don’t take the time first though you won’t have the photos…
