During a hearing on Capitol Hill Attorney General Merrick Garland was obstinate. How can he do his job as AG and not know a single thing about any case he has authority over?

Of course, we dodged a bullet with this guy under Obama when he was a candidate for Supreme Court Judge. Thank You Lord for keeping him out of that building. Although it punched us in the gut to have him placed in this seat. It’s bad enough having the recent lady that only checks off certain marks the administration wanted to make up for the 3 justices that were seated under the prior administration.

The question came up about whether he believed traditional Catholics were ‘violent extremists’. Listening to some of his comments over the last couple of years and to all of the crazy and nonsensical mush coming out of this White House and Department Heads; this was unsurprising and yet ludicrous. Just for him to simply answer a question as simple as this took him well over one minute.

He did try to dodge it by saying how dare you ask that of someone with my family background. I can’t help but think as he said, that how the two-tiered system of justice was in Germany. Propaganda worked all too well in Nazi Germany. His words that continued to be his answers, paraphrasing I don’t want to interfere. Jews and Germans alike didn’t want to interfere until the violence came to their door. It just hearkened to some of the scenes of books I have read about people who lived in those times. That was a real fear and people didn’t interfere to the detriment of the German and Jewish Communities in Europe.

Haven’t we seen enough and have enough documentation of what truly happens when good people don’t interfere?

This is America and we have a reputation for being brash to most of the rest of the world. When it comes to common sense ideas and saying what we think and acting before we think; we do sincerely act from the bottom of our hearts. We have direct family lines that remember the World War II time-frame, we have history books of real accounts during the Holocaust. There is something wrong with an individual who has such an integral, essential position in not only the administration but the Department of Justice not fully completing the tasks of his supposed role.

Again I have to wonder, why does he have this job? Yet… that is exactly why he has this job right!
