Wildlife Moments: Monday

Again Monday morning, I went outside to see how the temperature felt at the front door. If I go to the back door it’s always colder than it really is outside. So I go to the front, usually.

I don’t usually see snails on the house first thing in the morning. So when I saw this instantly my fingers itched for my phone camera. It’s called a Leopard Slug.

Honestly, I like that they are 4 to 6 inches usually and no bigger than that after what I have been through with similar longer creatures. Plus they are somewhat slow moving.

I saw the first one at the door until we left to walk. I literally stopped in the road in front of the house to get both of these slugs. The corner photo shows both slugs. Yes my Mom loves Hens and Chicks as you can see in the larger photo. The green succulents that really look intriguing to the eye.

Again, I marvel at God’s workmanship with these creations, such intricate design.
