Attire For Where…

A new low has settled into the halls of our United States Senate. When I got my confirmation that I would be a page for the day I was ecstatic especially the first time. I did this three times, and no I was not necessarily an over-achiever my Senator was in meetings the whole day I was there and so I got a redo.

The first time I was so excited I couldn’t wait to figure out what to wear. I had recently gotten a black and purple pantsuit and some high heels I just couldn’t wait to hear the click clock on the floors of the Indiana Statehouse. It was so cool two of my best friends was able to go on the same day with me. Autumn, Courtney and I got our photo with the Speaker of the House John Gregg. It was an awesome day for us my Dad and I picked up Courtney on the way up and back and Autumn’s parents took her up themselves.

Like I said it was just the first of three experiences for me, but each was really intriguing. The last one my cousin Lilly ended up coming with me. I think it may have helped us just a tad bit when it came to our admissions with colleges and paperwork just a little bit; but it was a lot of fun.

The decision that was made for our Senate seems extremely detrimental to the norms for working hours. Why would anyone want to see 49 other Fetterman inspired Senators when their staff still have to maintain decorum? Why is Schumer caving into this when he even said he would still dress up, himself?

The photo above was at my parents wedding.
Both my Grandpas looked pretty good dressed up.
Don’t listen to this hogwash about not dressing up for work.
Real Men put forth the energy and time to look good.
