Wow there is nothing like a real-life dichotomy happening to show you how important your Constitutional Rights truly are!

In New Mexico the Governor is restricting access to her constituents own possessions which under the 2nd Amendment specifically states this:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

While at the same time today an illegal immigrant Cavalcante had for 13 long days been at large in Pennsylvania. The officials encouraged the citizens of this state to be adequately armed because this man had experience being in the jungle of Brazil and made it here from there. He was able to steal a rifle and clothes and who knows how much more he could have done.

Yet to hear a sitting Governor think she has the right to take away someone’s right to protect themselves at the very same time this was happening is absolutely crazy. Both New Mexico and Pennsylvania Governors are Democrat yet looking at how the states are working through problems from last week seem ironic.

Unfortunately, my family and I understand what it is like to have criminals on the loose in your community. We live a little too close to the local prison system. Due to that fact we know a lot of the men and women who work in the Carlisle Prison or who have worked there. There is also the U.S. Penitentiary in Terre Haute not too far away from us where Timothy McVeigh was housed and where his death sentence was served. I remember the morning it happened.

However, like the man who said Cavalcante was in his house Thank Goodness that has not happened and God-willing will not happen, to us.

However, if it did which one of these state leaders would our Governor be like at the time of a future accident?
