Are you holding a grudge? About?-Writing Prompt

Are you holding a grudge? About?

This is a rather personal question to ask. Although women are notorious for holding grudges. Cleopatra comes to mind, but then I would also have to mention Rachel and Leah.

When Isaac mistakenly gave the birthright to Jacob instead of Esau, boy did they have some problems which only proves that grudges can be held by men just as easily as women. Samson and Delilah both of them had some serious longtime grudges going on. The Bible tells us some of the details, of he grudges but sometimes only enough for us to understand the story the way He needs us to.

Grudges are not good to have and if they were all known to everyone; it would not be beneficial. Only the person with the grudge can make the decision to make it known. If they are going to tackle their grudges they need to be praying for God’s will to be surrounding them as they do so. There would need to be special reasons and the good outnumbering the bad.
