Lord, God, sometimes the unscripted happens and it is to draw us closer to you Lord… but why does it have to hurt so?

A few moments ago my parents got a text from their Preacher. His daughter has been in a horrible accident this morning and she has been sent to Deaconess with broken bones. She’s a young woman with a fiance and she’s an only child.

Lord, this is now the third accident since mine on August 2nd that I have heard of in my Church and Family Community Circle. This is of course the worst of the three and she is the youngest of us three ladies who have had these accidents lately. Mine was the least catastrophic and my sister-in-law’s being some measure worse than mine.

Why do these things happen Lord? Then to find out she was actually on Lone Tree Road! This road is notorious for accidents. A friend of mine had an accident on that road over a decade ago and was fortunate to come out of it as she did.

This young woman has such a bright future and needs all our prayers right now. I am certain Bethel Baptist will be cocooning her family even more with sustenance, love and prayers as I know this congregation and their hearts.

Please Lord be with this woman and her family in their need of prayer! In Jesus Holy Name I Pray!!
