Jewells of Thought

The Lord truly… works… in mysterious ways. Today was a culmination of literally about 9 months of signs from God to wake me up. The amount of intricate working the Lord does in one’s heart and mind for His glory is incredible.

Honestly… I am still digesting the events of my day. Yesterday was a day of moving furniture, sweeping and dusting. On top of playtime which is why I didn’t get any time to work on any thoughts I may have in my head.

Then while the aroma flooded the room I started a movie I had finally been able to watch. The title was, “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters”, this was another Great American Family Movie that was very well executed.

This afternoon my great-aunt left my books at my Grandma’s apartment. Not having my books was difficult, but I got through the week. I know She was happy to see both of them and then today my aunts and cousin got to enjoy the photos brought out of the albums to see sunlight once again. Reminiscing for a second Sunday in a row over family photos was absolutely fun and is exciting seeing resemblances.

God knows what we need. Why do we constantly try to fight His wisdom? Today was a big day for me and gave me resolve for a question that has been hanging over me since December. Funny how sometimes a child has to steer us back to where we should be. For me nearly a month ago it was watching a cousin of mine being baptized from her Churches live-stream.
