Considering I am the woman who still likes to use a vintage typewriter for my writing prompts I am not the guru for architecture in creating a city. However, I do have my 2 cents worth, like my Grandpa used to say.
A city, town whatever the size or scope of the idea of the area should always have a Church in order to meet for worship, prayer and whatever business there might be. The city needs a backbone the Church Community is that bone. The believers of a Church Community know the town backwards and forwards this is the essential quality of a town. Sometimes there are many Churches like in Linton even Dugger has more than one for as little of a place as it is.
People’s lives used to revolve around the Church building for education, town business and Church. That was probably a good reminder for people to keep God in their lives unlike today where the Church is left out of a person’s life altogether now in many cases. I guess that is really all I can think of to answer this question with.
God must be at the foundation of this city or it will crumble.
