Jewells of Thought

Yesterday was a day of digesting some truth. My family grew up without cable. Going on vacations and then college were the only times I watched cable ever in my life. In the last few years literally since Trump became President watching the news has become a chore.

Right before Covid happened I was beginning to find an alternate meothod of television on my computer. Which led me to Frndly TV. Yes, I became infactuated with Hallmark for a time it was refreshing and it wasn’t CBS, NBC, or ABC the main ones on our television sets. I also understand that FOX went along with the crap that Trump lost all of a sudden back in 2020. I was watching the numbers that night and it didn’t make any sense that at one point in the night all the numbers just happened to go in the opposition’s favor.

All of this to say last night I ended up watching President Trump’s interview with Tucker. Especially since FOX deliberately kept Trumps allies and family from being able to see the debate. Then Matt Walsh asked this morning if the candidates had even been asked about their ideas on children’s mutilation? There were at least 10 questions the debate brazenly left out of this conversation between our candidates.

Then after watching the interview last night two ladies from the Gettr app I was watching it on was calling everyone who watched the debate on FOX stupid. I felt like I was in high school again with this attitude. I am very much a Trump Republican and he can’t really lose my vote. These ladies may think they are doing Trump a favor, but the Silent Majority is awake and rising up otherwise Jason Aldean and Oliver Anthony wouldn’t be making a difference. Not to mention the fact the indictments have helped Trumps polling numbers.

Name calling isn’t becoming, they may be right on the integrity of the FOX Network, but not every single employee. Maybe I am too sentimental, but there are some real Veterans employed there and other highly intelligent and bright individuals. I don’t take kindly to blanket statements characterizing groups especially including American Veterans. It is still a job that people need and in this economy and not everyone has an opportunity to just easily get another one.

Why can’t the news be level-headed anymore!
