This morning a commercial for a playground used a form of this word. Does anyone else get tired of the overzealous use of this word? I believe most of us do provide such an inclusive environment, America isn’t called the modern day melting pot for no reason.

In school it was the beauty of what made America great our differences being celebrated. Vivek Ramaswamy also a fellow millenial from 1985 shared those same thoughts last night. I didn’t watch the debate, but I did watch you-tube today and caught that clip. I knew he was close to my age, but didn’t realize how close until watching that video. We grew up in an age of seeing culture at our fingertips more than just associating together.
One of the thoughts going through my mind this morning was a scene from the Bible. When Moses took his people out of Egypt they were not solely Israelites.
What would have happened if God only took His Chosen few out of Egypt. Yet… how can one say the Gentiles weren’t a part of His Chosen few? How else would the men have accepted circumcision if not chosen by the Almighty?
Millions, if not billions perhaps, of people walked with Moses and his family out of Egypt. Yes there were deceitful people just wanting out of the wasteland that had been created, but many of them genuinely joined them because of what they saw the God of the Israelites do to show his authority over any other god. Even Egyptians themselves left with them.
I love reading how different authors interpret Moses, Miriam and the whole story of Exodus. Or the continuation of little stories throughout the book. In one version a young man was born disformed, his gait was off and speaking was difficult for him. However, he was a talented man who could paint. This series has 3 books I literally immerse myself in this telling of these 40 plus years from the 10 plagues and them eventually going into Canaan.
This young man at the Mount Sinai when God Himself speaks to this multitude it portrays a vulnerable, scary and incredibly haunting experience that they agree to tell God please don’t speak to us directly like that ever again, basically. However, this young man was a firstborn if he had stayed in Egypt he would have died. A Jewish family took him and sister in and he was saved if God was not merciful this Egyptian man should have died. Instead after God’s words this young man transforms from the healing nature of God’s existence as a loving Father.
This Series is called, “Out From Egypt” and the author is Connilyn Cossette. I am referring to the first book of the 3 book series. All I am saying is that God, El Shaddai, The Almighty invented the word and meaning of inclusiveness and it was in Bible Times. Christ said bring the children to me so that they should hear the gospel. It is not new I am certain Noah would have loved to have anyone else share in the Ark if they would have reached out to him. No one answered his call to be saved I don’t believe God put restrictions on anyone who wanted to save their lives, perhaps living with this Godly family would have changed some minds after 40 days and nights.
More inclusiveness could have happened in the Ark? Why didn’t they take a risk?
