Being Straightforward

Once, twice actually I think I watched this video now three times from three different video clips. One from Outnumbered, with Fox and Friends and in another setting. Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy had a “model” conversation with an activist at the Iowa Fair that went viral.

Joe Concha voiced my thoughts today. Saying that Vivek is an excellent Vice Presidential quality while also deducing the statistics and election wear and tear over the next year in doing so. Mr. Ramaswamy is a businessman like Trump who won’t denigrate the 45th President to move himself into bigger numbers. They are very similar in background and fierceness; quite a combination. Plus they are both Washington outsiders.

This ability of his shouldn’t be unique though, here in America. Conversing from different viewpoints has been a longstanding American tradition… that we have somehow lost.

Maybe he won that lady over and maybe he didn’t, but she listened and was polite in return. When I saw this clip Concha described that usually they use sound-bites of just a few seconds. This video was so good the entire minute-long video was displayed each time.

In about a week’s time the first Republican Debate will take place. It will be interesting to see what comes out of this and if Trump takes the stage with the other candidates… or not!
