My concussion is gradually getting better. I was fortunate back in 2005 to have one migraine the day after and that was the end of it for me. On Friday I made it back to class and didn’t miss another day in the classroom.

There was a final paper for this course and Mr. Gee put us in groups. There were three of us girls in my group. We had to decide on a Country to write a paper about and give a presentation on in front of the class. Would you have a difficult time picking one?
For some reason I remember talking about this Country in my history class in high school. The name just sounded neat so I brought up Kazakhstan. Mr. Gee rejected this idea. Honestly, I’m not sure if he gave us another choice or simply gave us our Country after that failed thought of mine.
Mr. Gee was one of those teachers that you didn’t want to irritate. Believe me some guys still tried, but he would love to mess with you a little bit if you tried.
He was an old school teacher. I remember him commenting on knowing the Weatherman from Channel 10 up at Terre Haute on CBS. I wasn’t too thrilled, because I have heard stories about that same guy that are not favorable. Yet Mr. Gee was an interesting man with lots of intriguing stories. I wonder if he’s still teaching? His classroom would have changed from the Alumni magazines that are actually across from the Chapel and the Library. The Education and Science Building is actually in the area where I lived in a house with 9 other ladies…

Our paper, I think, was the funnest part of the class! What was our Country again? Oh I guess you’ll find out later!
