This phrase has came up twice at least yesterday from my Telegram feed. Once from Senator Ted Cruz and secondly from Matt Walsh. I am a proud American woman. I don’t like seeing my Country and its values disintegrate into a term used for Third World Countries.

There are realities we have come to terms with, but there are some that are too incredibly horrible to visualize. Like becoming an actual banana republic.
The question is what can be done to hamper this from taking shape quicker? How do we stem the flow of a disintegrating society?
My first thought is Christ. The world has always needed Christ and America has been the largest group of missionaries in history. Now we need missionaries in America more than ever.
What would it take to be an assertive missionary to your family and community? What acts of mercy would help? Is Jewell’s of Thought one of those ideas? Is it helping in any way for your soul?
Can we prove the naysayers wrong? Is there more we each can do? That’s the hitch though isn’t it? Would others do their part to make a difference? Last night I began to feel better as well as this morning as I am able to ponder these ideas and type thoughts. These are just the quandaries left on my mind from seeing that phrase on my feed twice.
How do you feel about your Country right now? What do you think needs to be happening, by us common folk while the Republicans are investigating and Democrats are bullying and complaining?
