Fellowshipping With Kindred Spirits

One thing I have learned in this world is that no Church is perfect. However, God’s Church is the people not the building. After Christ was crucified it took a long time before Churches became as important as Synagogues. They met in homes for the most part.

Life is difficult enough when you don’t have Christ in your life, firstly. Then secondly having a Church Family: to pray with, consult with, to enjoy and appreciate the blessings of life together. Sometimes friends with a like faith are able to point things out in a more subtle or nicer way than others. Or they can be quite the opposite.

One never knows what they will walk into when they visit a Church for the first time. Yet if you don’t… you will never truly know what is truth and or fiction for yourself. When you’re saved the Lord shows you your purpose if you haven’t already found it in life. I have found that God has sent me to different Churches in order to bring out different angles in my personal ministry and service to Him.

Church is so much more than a building. It is about finding the joy during frustrating times and a peace during the chaos. This can only truly be found by finding safety from salvation in Christ alone. Church is the place to commune with God and embrace friends along the various pathways of life.

There are a few different Churches that have taught me different lessons about myself and made an integral impact in my life. Do you have a Church that has done something similar for you?
