Jewells of Thought

This morning started out fine. We didn’t walk though and that screwed up the day right there. Then there were three appointments again. A second Thursday in a row with several appointments in different directions.

The second appointment for my mom though was very encouraging. She has lost nearly 30 pounds and is in a much healthier place with her sugar. It was wonderful news that we left through the Clinic’s doors with smiles.

It was after we got home and before I could finish my second article that the internet just dropped for hours it seemed. Yet we still had our power on it didn’t affect the electricity altogether like an outage. Thankfully.

In the meanwhile; another look-through the garden and Dad had tomatoes galore and more cucumbers. So our next project is Salsa!

The main problem besides not being able to post articles is not being able to talk to Bryan. I nearly panic when it shows we have no connection. He’s in California that happens more than we would like it to, but this was here with our internet service. So that stresses me out further. We were able to exchange some words when the service came back on. It truly calms me down to see his messages after a long frustrating day of things not working well.

In a few minutes I will be playing around with a different mixture of herbs for this last batch of pickles. Mediterranean Blend and I am looking forward to trying this batch!
